The answer to that is....ABSOLUTELY!  In our patnership with Essilor and Preferred Eye Care, LLC, we are able to offer competively priced frames, lenses, sunglasses and contact lenses to serve all your vision needs.  When you visit your eye doctor, browse through eyeglass frames there or at any retail optical outlet.  If you find a frame you like, write down all the frame information that is imprinted on the inside of the frame (see our frame buying guidelines which shows where the frame information is imprinted).  Then enter your frame information in our search window.  If you cannot locate the frame, contact our customer service department at 1-877- 316-9232.

After you have your eye examination, your eye doctor will give you a copy of your prescription for eyeglasses and contact lenses.  You can fax a copy of this prescription to our customer service department at (713)782-5330 or scan and email the prescription to prescription@onlineopticalstore.com.  If you do not have a copy of your prescription, you can contact your eye doctor and obtain a copy or our customer service department can contact your eye doctor for you (call 1-877-316-9232).

Yes we do!  Our featured eyeglass frames are styles reminiscent of notable time periods in style of eyewear.  However, you can browse through thousands of current  frames from hundreds of worldwide manufactures to find the eyeglass frame just for you!

Yes you can purchase a frame without having to also purchase prescription lenses.  You can then take the frame to your eye doctor or retail optical store to have prescription lenses put into your new frame.

Our Online Optical Store has developed a proprietary mathematical method for determining the optimal position of the reading, or seg height, portion of a progressive no-line bifocal lens.  To learn more....see our Progressive Lens Formula in our online store.

Unfortunately, our Online Optical Store will not be able to put lined bifocals or trifocals in your new frame.  Howvever, we can put progressive addition lenses in any frame.  If you need lined bifocal or trifocal lenses, you can purchase the frame and have your eye doctor or local retail optical shop provide the lined lenses.
